Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 August 2026. These terms are between you and Garro Industries LLC, trading as Catholic Daily Prayer, an Indiana limited liability company.
What the service is
Catholic Daily Prayer sends prayers from the Liturgy of the Hours, the saint of the day, and traditional Catholic prayers to your phone. They arrive by text message. The service is offered to United States phone numbers only. There is nothing to install.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies by plan. Morning Bell sends up to three messages each day. Full Hours sends up to seven messages each day. Family Altar sends up to seven messages each day to each enrolled member. You may also receive occasional service messages: a welcome message when you begin, a reminder before your trial ends, and replies to STOP, HELP, PAUSE, or RESUME.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's charges are between you and your carrier; we do not control them and cannot refund them. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Keywords
Reply STOP to any message to stop all messages. CANCEL, QUIT, END, and UNSUBSCRIBE do the same. You will get one confirmation and nothing after that.
Reply START to begin receiving messages again. YES and UNSTOP do the same.
Reply HELP for support information at any time.
Reply PAUSE to hold the prayers, and RESUME to bring them back.

Write to support@catholicdailyprayer.org, or reply HELP to any message. We answer every message we receive.
Trial, price, and billing
Every plan begins with thirty days free. If you add a payment method, your plan renews each month at the price shown when you subscribed — Morning Bell $4.99, Full Hours $9.99, Family Altar $19.99, in US dollars. Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices may change; we will tell you before a change affects you.
Cancelling
You may cancel at any time. Replying STOP stops the messages. If you are on a paid plan, please also write to support@catholicdailyprayer.org so we can end the billing, and we will confirm. We are making STOP end the billing automatically; until then, one email is all it takes. There is no contract and no cancellation fee. We do not refund partial months, but if something has gone wrong, write to us and we will make it right.
The prayers themselves
The prayers, reflections, and saints' lives we send are either traditional texts in their traditional English wording, public-domain material, or compositions written for this service. They are for your own prayer and for your household. Please do not republish them commercially.
What this is not
This is a devotional aid. It is not spiritual direction, not pastoral counselling, and not a substitute for the Mass and the sacraments. It is not an official publication of the Catholic Church or of any diocese.
No warranty, and limits
We work to have every message arrive on time, but delivery depends on your carrier and on Twilio, and we cannot promise that every message will arrive. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana.
Changes
If we change these terms we will change the date at the top and, where the change matters, tell you by message.
