Stopping the prayers

There is no hard feeling in it. If the messages are not serving you, stop them — it takes one word.
Reply STOP to any message we have sent you.
That is the way that works, and it works immediately. Send it from the phone that receives the prayers. You will get one short confirmation, and nothing after that.
Other words that do the same thing
CANCEL, QUIT, END, and UNSUBSCRIBE are all honoured exactly like STOP.
If you only want a pause
Reply PAUSE to hold the prayers, and RESUME when you want them back. Your plan and your hours are kept.
If you want them back later
Reply START from the same number. YES and UNSTOP work too.
If you are paying
Replying STOP stops the messages. If you are on a paid plan, please also write to support@catholicdailyprayer.org so we can end the billing, and we will confirm. We are making STOP end the billing automatically; until then, one email is all it takes.
If you cannot reply by text
Write to support@catholicdailyprayer.org from any address and tell us the phone number to remove. Please write from an address we can answer. We will remove the number and confirm.
If you want your records deleted too
Stopping the messages leaves your subscription record in place. To have it erased, see the Privacy page or write to support@catholicdailyprayer.org.
